ALL parent classroom volunteers and field trip chaperones must complete a level 2 background check with the board. This means applying online and bringing in photo ID to the main office. It can take up to 2 weeks so don’t wait until the last minute.
Raz Kids, Teach Your Monster to Read, and Class Dojo informational forms were all sent home this week. Please read the information to find out usernames and passwords. All of these sites are helpful to improve literacy skills, except for Class Dojo. If I have to make any announcements, I will send messages through Class Dojo.
Drop Off in the morning will be on the basketball court. Look for the orange cone that says, "103." Students in 103 will line up with the class. Students will be dismissed near the gym doors on Leavitt a few minutes before 3:30pm.
Open House will be September 20th. There will be two separate sessions. One session will be from 6:00-6:30pm and the 2nd session will be from 6:30-7:00pm. Both sessions will be identical, so please choose 1 you would like to attend. This will be an adult presentation.
There are several different forms that should be completed and returned to school. These forms were passed out at the Meet and Greet. Please print them and fill them out as soon as possible. Thank you! cps.edu/school-forms.html
My email is email@example.com. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns. *I will also use ClassDojo as a way of communication. New Class Dojo accounts will be passed out soon. Please fill out and return the Media Consent Form so that I can add pictures to our website. If you have filled out the Media Consent Form and selected no, but you don't mind if your child's picture is posted on my Coonley Weebly website, please send me an email to let me know. media_consent.pdf
Please do not send anything that contains nuts as a snack. We have a child with a nut allergy. Snacks should be healthy and nut-free. Thank you!
Please remember that the yellow homework folder should always return to school with your child each day.
